Course Structure

Seminars – Specific topics based on methodological papers and data sets with related publications will be presented. Students will become familiar with the topic background (methods and field of application) and discuss the possibilities for implementation of the new methods into their own work.

Tutorials/Exercise – With help of exercises and small projects, students learn how to apply the new methodological developments discussed during the seminar. Students should not only obtain the ability to use the new methods on their own, but also to identify and integrate the methods that are relevant for them into their own statistical problems.
