Early Stage Researcher at the IBE - Chair for Biometry and Bioinformatics
My PhD and research interests deal with the way to best synthesize evidence in systematic reviews. Specifically, I look to adapt existing and develop new methods for the evidence synthesis in systematic reviews of public health and environmental interventions. These types of systematic reviews often include a heterogeneous mix of evidence (e.g. different intervention components; multiple, potentially conflicting outcomes; different study designs), and bringing this together in a way that is meaningful to decision makers can be challenging.
