TRIANGLE-Studie erneut in Lancet veröffentlicht

Die jüngsten Ergebnisse der europäischen, akademischen, dreiarmigen TRIANGLE-Studie bestätigen eine deutlich verbesserte Überlebenszeit bei Patient*innen unter 66 Jahren mit dem seltenen Mantelzell-Lymphom. Die neu etablierte Standardtherapie kombiniert ein orales Medikament mit einer Immunchemotherapie und verzichtet dabei auf die bislang übliche, nebenwirkungsreiche autologe Stammzelltransplantation. Durch eine anspruchsvolle biometrische Studienplanung, Studienbegleitung und statistische Auswertung trugen Prof. Dr. Eva Hoster und ihre Doktorandin Linmiao Jiang vom Lehrstuhl für Medizinische Biometrie des IBE maßgeblich zum internationalen Erfolg der TRIANGLE-Studie bei.
