Welcome Event Ph.D. Program Epidemiology and Public Health

On Wednesday, October 15, fifteen new doctoral candidates have been officially admitted to our Ph.D. program, Medical Research in Epidemiology and Public Health. We welcomed all of them in the IBE library.
After the welcome addresses given by Prof. Eva Rehfuess, our new spokespersons Prof. Eva Grill and Prof. Heidi Stöckl, the doctoral candidates received a first insight into the structure and curriculum of the Ph.D. program by the coordinators Dr. Annette Hartmann and Monika Darchinger.
Furthermore, three out of four Ph.D. representatives, as well as one recent Ph.D. graduate, were available for discussion.
The new PhD candidates are from Azerbaijan, China, Iraq, Mongolia, Yemen, and Germany.
We wish them all a successful start to their research projects!
