I am a PhD student in statistics and joined the working group Biometry in Molecular Medicine (led by Prof. Anne-Laure Boulesteix) in March 2023. I am a member of (and fully funded by) the Munich Center of Machine Learning (MCML).

In my Master's thesis, I explored, illustrated and discussed the concept of strictly confirmatory research, preregistration and the use of research protocols in the context of real-data methodological statistical research (full text available here). As part of my thesis, I suggested a structure and essential elements for research protocols employed for the preregistration of confirmatory real-data methodological studies. Building upon that, I have been developing a checklist for study protocols documenting real-data methodological research (paper currently in preparation). A preliminary version of this checklist is available on the Open Science Framework (see OSF project). If you have a suggestion, correction or any other type of comment regarding this checklist, feel free to write me an email!
