Academic Biography

Eva Grill is Professor of Epidemiology and Head of the Unit Vestibular Epidemiology at LMU, Faculty of Medicine. She is visiting professor at the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) at Université Aix-Marseille, Centre de Recherche en Psychologie et Neurosciences. She holds a MSc in Public Health, a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health.

Her main research area is lifecourse epidemiology and health services research with over 200 peer-reviewed publications. She supervised and graduated over 50 postgraduate students (MSc/PhD).

She is Member of the German national board for Public Health Agencies and the Fachkollegium FK 205-01, Epidemiology and Medical Biometry of the German Research Foundation, has been president of the German Society of Epidemiology, Member of the Pandemic Research Council of the German Research Foundation, and has served as consultant to national institutions such as the German Parliament and the German Federal Constitutional Court.
