Project Title
Advance Care Planning in der Geburtshilfe: Eine qualitative Expertenbefragung zur Vorausplanung klinisch begleiteter Geburten
Research Interest
The project aims to analyse current practices of birth planning in Germany and to assess their normative compatibility with core principles of advance care planning, especially with regard to autonomy, decision-making, and professional responsibility. Methodologically, the project combines qualitative empirical research with a normative ethical analysis, thereby addressing a conceptual and empirical gap at the intersection of public health, medical ethics, and birth care.
