Ph.D. Retreat 2019
The 2019 Ph.D. Retreat took place from June 23rd to June 26th, 2019 at the Hotel Jäger von Fall in Lenggries-Fall. Located directly at the beautiful Sylvensteinsee, the hotel offered everything – tranquility, recreation, and lake, river, and mountain activities, just to mention a few.
In addition to the presentations of the Ph.D. projects, we had the opportunity to listen to talks given by Dr. Isolde von Bülow (GraduateCenterLMU) and Dr. Michael Laxy (Helmholtz Zentrum), who talked about “Planning your Career” and discussed both with students and Prof. Eva Rehfuess, newly appointed chair of the Department for Public Health and Health Services Research, part of the IBE.
