Ph.D. Journal Club (mandatory)

The Ph.D. Journal Club usually takes place once a month. During roughly two hours (double session) doctoral candidates present and discuss scientific publications related to the various topics in epidemiological research and public health or their own research. The person presenting is in charge of selecting a paper of interest to her/him and other fellows. Our journal club is a mandatory event for all Ph.D. EPH candidates.

Throughout your Ph.D. you have to attend a minimum of twelve two-hour sessions, including one paper and one progress report presentation.
Having fulfilled these requirements you will be granted with 1.5 ECTS in the methods category for your curriculum.
In case you participate 20 times or more, we will accredit this accordingly with 2.5 ECTS.

ECTS: 1.5 to 2.5

Prerequisites: None

Accreditation of 1.5 ECTS after participation of all in all at least 12 double sessions
including 2 presentations (1 paper/1 progress report) in the course of your Ph.D.

When: Last Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. (all year except holidays)
